The Path

One story in four chapters — from the gym to biohacking

On paper it looks unusual. In practice it means one thing: I know how to figure things out, no matter which part of the system fails.

  1. 01

    Sports from age four

My first profession was sports — competitive, then for life

From age four onward: first competitive, now recreational, but never casual. Discipline and stamina can't be acted out in a meeting — either you have them or you don't.

    Competitive and recreational level

Gymnastics, pole vault, snowboarding and enduro mountain biking — each left its own habit.

    Gymnastics

The first school of the body: control, balance and repetition until it's clean. That's where the sense that every skill is just a matter of hours comes from.

    Pole vault

A discipline where courage without technique reliably leaves you on the ground. Excellent preparation for high-stakes projects.

    Snowboarding

Competitive and as an instructor with an international license. Carving and powder — the only schedule I follow without argument.

    Enduro MTB

Climbing is the work, descending is the reward. Enduro taught me to read the terrain faster than I can think it through.

    School and university

From police-school discipline to management — and politics in miniature

An unusual combination that, in practice, means one thing: I know how to handle myself. During my studies I invested most of my energy in roles where I had to negotiate with people who didn't agree with each other.

    Police secondary school

Discipline, cool-headedness and the habit of understanding a situation before trying to solve it. A useful skill — even when a server is on fire and nothing worse.

    Faculty of Management

I translated order and structure into business language: processes, people, numbers. Above-average results — and a huge amount of work outside the lecture hall.

    Roles during university

    • President of the student council
    • Organisation of student events
    • Above-average study results
    • Student representative in the Senate of the University of Primorska
    • Erasmus tutor for international students
    • Student representative in the statutory commission of the University of Primorska
    • Member of the student council of the University of Primorska
    • Member of the executive board of the FM student association

    Work experience

Seventeen years at the intersection of technology, people and numbers

At the international EMUNI University I covered IT, HR and finance — often on the same day. In parallel I developed websites, designed and led projects for companies that needed someone who understands both: the system and the business.

The result is a very unromantic skill: I can translate technical chaos into a decision leadership can make in five minutes.

    Biohacking

The body is the real core business — and I pass that knowledge on

After years of sports, IT and management, I discovered the most undervalued infrastructure: my own body. Ever since I started managing it like a system — with metrics, habits and discipline — everything else changed. I now pass that experience on.

Futuristic visualization of human performance — a luminous body model with biometric data

    Energy before tactics

The best strategy won't survive three poorly slept nights. So optimisation starts with sleep, not tools.

    Recovery as a process

Training, nutrition, breathing, cold and heat — treated as systematically as infrastructure. Measure, adjust, repeat.

    Focus as a work tool

Complex problems are solved by a focused head. Everything else is just a faster way to make a mistake.

    Training and mentoring

One-on-one training and mentoring on using smart devices for the body (wearables, Oura, WHOOP, CGM) and optimising your living environment (smart home for circadian rhythm, air quality and sleep).

Climax of the story

It all converges at humax.si

IT knowledge, management experience and international mileage didn't stay separate lines on a CV. I combined them at humax.si — where I do what I previously did in pieces: build systems and solutions that actually make a company's day easier.

The approach stays the same: understand first, promise second. In that order.
